That’s right, the contest is to do the best drawing of Dash and the winner gets a brand new Microsoft Zune. This particular model is the 30 gigabyte model and from personal experience, portable music players are perfect for when you’re drawing your comics and art. So, all you need to do to get this awesome prize is draw Dash Kameku, the star of Cosmic Dash.
So, how exactly does the contest work? Simple! You just draw your best Dash Kameku you can. You can enter as many times you like with as many drawings as you’d like. You can do black and white, color, 3D models, whatever you want. My favorite rendition of the character gets the Zune as well as the option of me designing a character for them and several of my original sketches for Cosmic Dash pages.
Brian Anderson Wants your art SKILLS!
I’ve got news.
I’m returning to my webcomic roots. Not that I left them, just well…wait…now I’m confused. Right, I’m launching a new webcomic January 1st and I’m looking for artists. The comic will be based on my upcoming novel “The Conjurers.” Yes, it certainly would help promote the book, but the webcomic will launch and continue on regardless of what happens with the book.
Initially it will be updated once a week and I plan on having at least three artists working on separate stories. If things go well with the book deal, I plan on self-funding the webcomic. In other words, my goal is to turn it into a paying gig for the artists. I haven’t put the official announcement up yet on the site, but anyone can swing by and get a feel for the world in the novel.
It’s really kind of a new approach to a webcomic. One that I’m excited about and am sure will be fun.
Cheers,
Brian Anderson
