In regards to Drunk Duck not being at San Diego comicon, I think they had already planned to do all the Wizard World shows, and Wiz Chicago is right after (a week or two) the big San Diego show, and a lot of people who will be working Comic Book Challenge like Carly, etc, wouldn’t be able to organize a Duck table inside– my guess anyway.
Last year Challenge was hosted down the street at NBC’s building, this year it’s even closer to the actual convention, but doesn’t take place in there. I’m glad it’s not inside as it’s madhouse in there. I’m not sure if this year if it’s open to the public or not, I don’t believe it is.
I’m gonna push from the inside to make either Platinum or Drunk Duck have a nice presence inside the convention as well next year.
