Here are the top stories for today…

  • Heidi MacDonald at The Beat is reporting that another webcomic is going to print form via Image Comics. ACT-I-VATE alumni Dean Haspiel and Michel Fiffe bring their webcomics to a 3 issue limited series entitled BRAWL coming out October 10th.
  • The Paranormals offer kids, or you, a way to make webcomics.
  • Christopher Butcher posts an interesting review of Questionable Content on his blog Comics212.
  • Todd Klein has launched a new site dedicated primarily to logo design and lettering.
  • Pixel Hero Productions has launched their new webcomics site. They’re main feature is a strip called Ouijia Band; however, they promise more to come in the near future.
  • ROK Comics has announced a roughly $10K (5K pounds sterling) prize for best original strip or cartoon it receives by now and the end of July. In addition the winner will be advertised under a new section of the website to be called ‘Hot Talent.’
