Rachel Nabors needs some serious dosh for dental surgery. She’s got no insurance (oh, don’t we know how much fun that is), and she must have the surgery. Rachel is a hardworking young manga-ka who’s created hundreds of pages of manga, and self-published her work. Rachel also educates and supports other cartoonists through her site, MangaPunk and is a member of the women cartoonists collective Women’s Work.

Suggesting ANYTHING. Rachel has exhausted avenues for dental school (she doesn’t have one that does surgery), loans (come ON, why is that the default suggestion?), Hero Initiative, a move to another country (how unbelievably loutish), etc.Bottom line, Rachel deserves the help. She works hard, she’s worked to make the business better, she’s trustworthy.
