  • Polytechnic Online has a nice piece about Genericon. 
  • A nice post from the Blog of Last Resort about why buffers are a great idea for blogs and comics.
  • The indie guide Broken Pencil has an article in their latest issue about webcomics by Richard Rosenbaum called Paper is Boring. Comics are Awesome. 
  • Tim Broderick posts about being rejected, a frequent occurrence if you’re a cartoonist.
  • San Diego has launched a blog to help people find a hotel room. Over the weekend I posed a question which is when will webcomics have their own convention?

  • The Comics Nexus has published it’s list of awards for 2007. This years winner of the webcomic category is Girls With Slingshots, created by Danielle Corsetto. Runners up are Girl Genius (Bronze Nexus) and In His Likeness (Silver Nexus).  Congratulations Danielle and the other winners!
  • The North Carolina Webcomics Coffee Table Book, a collection of coffee related comics from the members of the North Carolina Webcomic Coffee Clatch, is now available for order. It has an introduction by Shannon Wheeler, creator of Too Much Coffee Man. 
  • Platinum Studios, Inc. begins trading under symbol PDOS.
