Webcomic Wire - 4/14/08

Posted by DarthMike on April 14th, 2008

Drawn from sources that stayed up late doing taxes…

  • A review of Comic Book Creator 2 by Geeks of Doom.
  • An interview with Anne Thalheimer.
  • Lea Hernandez answers questions about webcomics for students who are writing papers on the subject.
  • Editor and Publisher posts about Syndicates and the reduced size of comics space in newspapers.
  • Dave Kellett, creator of Sheldon, is interviewed at Art & Story.
  • Klos, creator of the webcomic Desert Story, is the first to try Fundable to raise money for his webcomic. Ok, well the first that I’ve seen at any rate. Good luck Klos!
  • Nicholas Gurewitch is up for an Eisner Awasrd. Best of luck Nicholas! Check out also, the nominees for Best Digital Comic.
  • Diana Goes Digital #5 over at The Savage Critics!
  • An interesting post about copyright law changes, I’m not sure about how true this is or when/ if the referenced legislation will become law; however, it’s worth looking into for sure. (Hat tip to the Scienteers!)
