American Splendor is set in Cleveland not New York BTW. As a Clevelander I feel obligated to point this out.
Fun Fact the film was actually all filmed in cleveland too. The comic shop they show in the film in the same comic shop I go to complain about how crappy Marvel & DC comics are lately.
