Marvel Comics Online ?

Wingtail girls updates.

Wes Molebas could use your support!

So here’s the plan in a nutshell:

– Publish a 32-page one-shot comic book this summer
– Fill that book with the best YHT comics from 2006 to present
– Promote the hell out of it!

The ultimate goal is to raise more awareness of my little comic strip, and encourage people to buy the collections. If the one-shot sells well, it may even lead to a bi-monthly YHT comic book. I’m not sure what the likelihood of that would be, but I’ve been told it’s a possibility.

But the book has to sell . . .

For this book to be successful, I’m going to need a lot of help from you guys. As we get closer and closer to the release of the book, I’ll give you guys some different tools and rewards for helping spread the word. But for now, I just need two things from you:

1.) Go to this forum thread and post your favorite YHT comic strips that have been published between Jan. 1, 2006 and now. Post as many strips as you’d like, and feel free to leave comments about what makes the strip(s) special to you. We’re going to use YOUR suggestions to fill this book with the best strips from the past year.

2. ) The book will feature two pages of reader letters and e-mail! So please send me your questions, comments, complaints, gripes, etc. to wesmolebash@gmail.com! Please put “LETTERS” in the subject line so I know it’s a submission for the comic book.

You guys and gals have two weeks to post your favorite comics and send me your e-mails. I’ll remove the message board thread on March 10 so I have time to pick the final comic strips in order to meet the deadline.

The info I’ve given you about this book is just a small taste of what we’re planning to do. I’ve got some more exciting news concerning the one-shot, and I’ll dispense with that info gradually as we get closer to the August publication date. So stay tuned to my blog for all the details!

In the meantime, you can start spreading the word in your blogs, message boards, IMs, and Myspace pages!
